2022 Landfill Coupons Now Available at Utility Office

 2022 Landfill Coupons are now available to be picked up at the City Utility Office (111 E 6th Avenue).

These coupons can be used to dispose of eligible cleanup waste at the Butler County Landfill free of charge. Each residential customer with a City of Augusta utility account can receive up to two (2) landfill coupons per year, as long as your account is current.

Combined, the two coupons will allow you to dispose up to 4,000 lbs of waste, five (5) passenger car tires (rims not included), and one appliance with a refrigeration unit.

The Butler County Landfill is located at 2963 SW 40th. Travel north on Ohio St. about 3.2 miles out of the Augusta city limits, then turn right on SW 40th Street and travel 4.0 miles to reach the landfill.  The landfill's current operating hours are 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Friday and 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM on Saturday.
